Steve Foreman started the agency in 1969, and was joined by his son, Doug Foreman in 1990. Fringe Benefit Plans is a comprehensive financial services firm specializing in employee benefit programs, executive benefits, and insurance. We provide complete services and products for individuals, families, businesses, and their employees.
Through an in-depth interview we are able to determine YOUR attitudes and wishes regarding your employee benefit package. We also offer, if desired, an employee survey to determine the attitudes of your employees towards your current benefit package. This process will help measure the adequacy of the current package and discover if your benefit dollars are being spent effectively. The employee survey generally heightens the employee’s feelings of self-worth and company concern for the well-being.
Based on the data collected, we are able to obtain quotations from many insurers in order to give you several suitable plan choices. Our presentations are well focused and detailed. We carefully analyze the plans and place them in a format where they can be summarily compared on a like basis. Our analysis attempts to put all plans on an equal footing so they may be compared accurately and fairly. We will review plan details with you and advise you of the advantages and disadvantages of each plan presented.
Once it has been determined which plan best fits your needs, we will guide you through the application and enrollment process. We closely monitor the processing of your package with the carrier to ensure a smooth transition for you and your employees.
When the package has been placed in force, we will meet with your plan administrator to review personnel issues in regards to the benefit package. This includes new enrollment, terminated employees, and government compliance.
Our team consists of dedicated personnel who are committed to assisting you in any way possible. Periodic phone calls to you or your administrator are scheduled to keep a “hands on” feel for your plan’s success, making suggestions or adjustments as needed. We offer assistance with employee meetings for employee awareness of the benefit package and the value it brings to them. We always encourage calls of any nature to assist us in monitoring your plan’s value.
Ninety days prior to the plan renewal date we will contact you regarding your upcoming renewal. This enables us to collect the data needed if package adjustments are deemed necessary. We work with carriers to ensure that rate adjustments are fair and equitable. If desired, at renewal we will obtain quotes from additional carriers to compare benefit formats and price comparisons. Renewal reviews enable you to keep a check on the benefits environment without taking your time away from what you do best.
